Hi there,

Can you apply EQ to on entire track rather than having to apply it to every individual 'segment'.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Hello,

Currently, Lightworks EQ can be applied to segments, not tracks. However, you can mark and park a section over the timeline and apply EQ all at once to all segments within the marked section, but take care, you can remove them only one by one and, they are separate instances, which means that if adjustments are necessary, you have to do it one by one. Of course you can apply a pre-adjusted customized templates, but also in this case, once applied, settings have to be adjusted one by one, if necessary.

Instead of using a marked section, you can also apply EQ to matching clips.

Edit: I forgot to mention, instead of removing EQ's one by one, you can neutralize or replace them based on marked sections or matching clips all at once. What does that mean? Lightworks provides a single sound effect, EQ. The rest are presets of EQ. And, there can be only one sound effect per segment. Applying a new effect replaces the existing. This allows replacing already adjusted EQ's with any preset or the base EQ. The effect of the latter is the same as removing it, because all settings on the base EQ are set to zero. A very special logic, indeed but, it works.
It's better to travel well than to arrive...
