Hi All
Our church puts together a Sunday Service from several sources. It is being edited by the Pastor on Windows 10 video editor. I have a service with one clip that has very hot audio.
Question: Is there an easy way to import the service into Light works and correct just the audio on the one clip that needs help?

Could I import the movie, mark the clip, remove it , reinstall it and correct the audio, then export the movie??

I'm a newbie
Thanks
Cal

Sorry about mis posting this earlier.

You should be able to. Import the movie and put cuts at either end of the effect clip by pressing the "c" key. You will be able to adjust just that section without affecting anything else. You can also just adjust levels without cutting by keyframing the audio levels, but cutting the timeline the way that I suggested is probably simplest in this case.

However I say "should" because if the audio is so hot that it distorts, Lightworks can't fix that. You will need more specialised audio processing software to address that sort of problem.
