The audio was recorded on a Samsung Note 9 voice recorder. Once imported into a 30 fps Lightworks project, the audio pitch is lower. Please Help

Welcome to the forum.

I would try using the V14.5 beta, it has a number of improvements in the audio section. It's close to release, so is stable.

An alternative is to use Audacity to convert your audio file to 48khz WAV file before importing into LIghtworks.

I found out that after unplugging my headphones and restarting Lightworks that the sound reverted to normal. I think its a bug with my headphone jack.

Thank you for your help!

That's a known issue on newer Mac computers when plugging in headphones. Unfortunately the most recent discussion on that is hidden in beta forums.

Plugging in headphones on OSX can, depending on system settings and type of device, change sample rate of the audio device which isn't recognized by Lightworks.

It might be possible on your system to set sample rate for your headphones to 48 kHz which should fix the problem.
It's better to travel well than to arrive...
