Hi,

I'm trying to edit an MP4 video that was generated via Skype. I just want to crop the start and end of the video. The full video plays fine under Windows, but when I upload to Lightworks the Audio is a cross between the Chipmunks and the Minions!

Is there any way of setting the input / output frame rate and or audio frequency?

I'm new to Lightworks, so this maybe a dumb question.

Thanks for your patience and any / all responses.

Jon.

Hi,

The new challenge for Lightworks, webinars recorded in non-standard frame rates.

Personally I'd convert this kind of material using Handbrake with suitable settings to AVC/AACmp4 with a standard constant frame rate, e.g. 24 fps.

Alternatively you can try using a 30 fps project (not Auto, not Mixed Rates, not 24 fps) and speeding down the footage by 50% after importing and inserting into timeline.

If you whish trying the latter, I'd suggest installing most recent V14.1, because there might be issues with V14.0 with this footage. Most recent V14.1 beta is downloadable form Downloads on top of this page.
It's better to travel well than to arrive...
