I was using some pink sheets as a green-screen and then editing it out with chromekey and choosing the saturation colour. i was wondering if there was a way to have the the 3D DVE values change as an effect, say changing the z position to make the person look further away as a edit that happened gradually during the video. Is this possible or perhaps is there an altogether different way to achieve a similar effect?
Many Thanks

Hello,

Yes you can. Use keyframes to animate 'Position.Z' (and other parameters) on the 3D-DVE.

This shows a setup, which allows scaling of fg and bg independently and blurring the background, if needed.

If you are not familiar with keyframes in Lightworks, I'd strongly recommend reading the related manual pages, starting on page 188 of the current 2020.1 User Guide, prior to working with keyframes.

Edit: The link to the manual was wrong, that's now corrected.

There's also this.

That's a chromakey with some DVE functions built in. You'll find it here and installation instructions here.
