Here's my first contribution that was completely edited in LW free with EyeFrame Converter doing the transcoding.

Hi eidauk

Nice work. Having just suffered an extreme summer here in Melbourne Australia, Guardsman Pass seems heaven.

I love your choice of music.

Very nice indeed

Cheers

Very nice short film.

The only issue I'm having is the snow and sky being too warm (snow seems to be tinted towards red, sky towards violet). For example if you compare the snow color in 1st shot (0m:05s) and then in the shot at 0:21, you'll realize the color in 1st shot is way too red. At 0:48, the snow is somehow posterized and heavily tinted towards light violet.

I'd try to apply color corection to make the colors more correct. Well, maybe I'd actually try to use selective color correction to only correct snow color and leave the rest ontouched (I kinda like that red-ish tint of trees in the background in the first clip)

Colors aside, it's really nicely shot and edited! And great choice of music as well!

Nice video.
How about the titles? Did you use a plug-in or did you add them in post?

Great observations brdloush. Shooting in snow, I've discovered, is quite a challenge. I feel like I got a lot of the exposures accurate by using the in-camera histogram, but I ran into a color problem. My Canon T2i tends to add a slight magenta hue to the highlight areas when shooting at 720 @ 60fps. I think the color correction abilities of LW are fantastic. I just need more practice with them.

I think I'll go back into that edit and give the color correction another shot taking your suggestions into account.

The titles were created on a transparent png in GIMP, then imported into LW on a separate video track from the background video. I used the "Blend" mix effect and keyframes with it's opacity slider to get the fading effect.

It's a little bit of work. I'm seriously thinking of going Pro so I can use the built-in titler.

Here's the second attempt at color correction. I cooled the colors to fit the subject matter better. Let me know what you think and what could be done better.

Seems much better to me, good job!

The sky at 0:31 still seems a bit too purple to me - especially when you compare it to nice blue sky at 0:26. You might either try to cool it down a bit it or use selective color correction (to select just the sky and correct it to be more like the sky at 0:26). Khaver's CCHelper 2 might help..
