Hi,
as a test I have imported a 2:20 clip from my Nikon D300s (1280x720 24fps). I can import the clip, the preview shows at the correct speed while the audio is accelerated so that stops at 1:10.
What's wrong?

I am a total newbie, so be good to me.

I have solved it, even if I don't know if it's the right method. I have cut the audio track in two, delete the second part and strechted the first to match the whole clip length.

Welcome to the forum.

Please follow the directions in this sticky, so that users can see the technical details of your Nikon video and, hopefully, the cause of the issue can be identified.

I can't imagine that this methods corrects the speed change to 200%. Does it?
It's better to travel well than to arrive...

Could you kindly post before/after screen grabs of the LW timeline? Not sure how determined the position where you needed to 'cut' the track into two.
