I'm sorry. I had to re-render this entire video. Once scene was totally blank from where the effect did not copy over. Sometimes unfolding and stretching the effect several clips blank out some of the clip especially if they're layered. Or if you move things around they also get blanked out. It's weird. I don't get it.

At any rate the video should post in a few minutes:

Brings back memories of black water bream fishing in cypress swamps when I was a kid. Cane poles and crickets.

Particularly like the moments and sections elaborating upon the repetitive minutiae of life. I suspect they are deliberate even if not pre-planned - they certainly make the piece stand out among marketing videos for fishing lures (not that I've seen any others).

I think it is very clever as a low key marketing tool. It is selling an ethos as represented by an individual to a target market of like-minded folk.

The jump-cuts and other techniques to accelerate time work fine - there are others to explore and it may be useful to shoot a greater variety of shot sizes - for example in he dinghy - that may provide other options to visually accelerate through the day. But it seems the filmmaker is also the on-screen talent and camera operator too so that may be a little difficult.

RWAV, yeah, that's me. I'm having to do everything. I would love to have a second camera on a monopod that I could use as a quick cam, especially for wildlife shots. Ultimately I'm just one person with one camera trying to make it.

The overall train of the show is about the fishing lifestyle where we follow a fledgling online fishing tackle shop owner--yes, that's me--as he explores his local waters while fighting diabetes and depression.

Yes! That's what I'm hoping for: low key marketing. This audience doesn't like those high-end sales pitch type deals, and I don't like selling that way either. Just document the fishing lifestyle among like-minded folk.

As far as the flat tire, well, that's what happened. The tire was flat, so I grabbed the camera and started shooting. Tried to fix it, and the next days it was flat, grabbed the camera and started shooting. No matter what happens there is always a story to tell.

Finally caught up with this. Nice job. And I've corrected the link in the first post for you too.
