The video is short and simple.

I learned to sync two consumer cameras by sound, and dissolve between them, to promote my 6-string banjo playing in Phoenix, Arizona.

Drum track is heard to keep my picking tight and accurate. I chose the better of the two sound tracks to keep in the final mix.

Thanks to forum members who answered my questions as I continue to learn LW

This links directs to "banjo2" vimeo.com/287022968.

On note: One of your cameras shows visible so called combing artifact (in this case horizntal lines). These occur when interlaced recordings (half frames, double speed) are exported to progressive formats (full frames, regular speed).

This image is hidden for guests. Please log in or register to see it.

To avoid combing artifacts, either select a progressive record mode on your camera or, de-interlace the material with third party software prior to import. Handbrake for example has a switch to enable de-interlacing.
It's better to travel well than to arrive...

Thank you for the recommendation to use Handbrake (it's free) to convert my JVC camcorder video, and eliminate the lines cutting across in my recent projects BANJO PICKIN, and STEEL PAN.

At first look, Handbrake is daunting.
I watched several YouTube tutorials and found this one to be a fairly clear introduction. Helps you find your way around the screen.

There are a lot of options I didn't even need. I converted to MP4 and it looks good!
Recommended.
