Just a "quick" travelogue-type vid I put together of my 2017 summer holidays in the south of France. The music is also something I whipped together rather hastily.

A lot of the footage is unfortunately very shaky, but sometimes travelling light and not lugging tripods etc. around are a necessary compromise! (Also was using the free version at the time so this is a 720p export. File download recommended )

Hi smyrf,

I like your video. Shaky camera movement, speed changes and jump cuts put together in a stylish way and the right tempo - impressionistic. Thumbs up!

Are you aware that there's trailing black starting from 00:05:24?

Thanks hugly. You say "shaky movement" as if it were a good thing

Yep I just noticed the trailing black now that I watched it again - I have a habit of half-finishing these kinds of projects then putting them aside, and forgetting about them...

I meant "shaky movement" to be well integrated in this video. The video breaks a bunch of classic conventions. It combines coincidental looking scenes, maybe even from different cameras, different aspect ratio, even portrait format, with uncommon camera motion, but sequence, timing of cuts and music brings everything perfectly together. That's a great video.
