On my channel, I've only used intro templates, and I wasn't very proud of that.
So I made my own.
I know videos don't always work here, so here's a tiny link. bit.ly/2bJEj6B

I see things improving.

Keep in mind, you will find the real power of Lightworks in cutting and trimming, so don't forget the challenge.

If you're finished with the first I've already another one for you.

By the way, I downloaded your intro and had a look to the audio tracks. Is the music you use 2 channel stereo? If so, what is the position of the pan sliders for A1,A2 of your audio mixer pannel?

Yes, it is two stereo, I always use that just because I can be OCD at times with my editing. I looked up pan sliders, and the only thing I could find was stuff for cooking haha. I created the audio with A1 and A2 being pairs, but I'm not sure if it came out that way if that's what you're asking. And thank you for telling me I'm improving

Okay, I see, you haven't detected the secrets of audio mixer panel yet.

With edit window open Press <insert> key, adio mixer panel opens.
Set the pan slider as shown to full out left for A1 and full out right for A2. Also set the channel switches 1 to 4 as shown.

Why?
Pan sliders full out avoid channel mixing of stereo channels which can cause distortion.
Activating monitor channel 3 and 4 will give you the correct audio monitor volume (listening volume) of 0dB instead of -6dB at the default settings.

Thanks so much. That's really helpful. Can I ask how you learned all this? You know a lot about lwks, how did you do that?

Well, the answer to your question would be a long story but in this special case I spent a lot of time discussing with donkpow about sliders, knobs and switches.

Could I get a different challenge? I've been struggling for a week and I want to continue it later. Maybe something a bit easier and more fun?

If you know now everything that's shown in the three video tutorials the first challenge is already a success.

I don't know whether the new one is easier but I guess it's more fun. Let's continue in the original thread.
