Hi.

I tried to add an audio to timeline but the audio's start is cut and it starts a second after the beginning.

I fixed it by adding in/out that starts at the beginning of the clip.

You can do that, but you don't need to.

Just make sure that no marked section is present on the clip (P-key) and the timeline marker is far left (A-key).

Lightworks respects the position of the timeline marker and marked sections on the source when inserting/replacing from source to target, with all available methods, even with drag and drop.
It's better to travel well than to arrive...
