When I click the “n” key it will place into the source viewer the clip from the record side positioned at the same spot the clip is parked on the record side. Back in the day, the clip—once in the source viewer—would stay where it was parked, but now it moves when I move position on the record side.

I assume this is a feature, but I’d like to turn it off so that the clip will not move on the source side unless I move it.

How do I turn off the repositioning?

Are you using the fixed or flexible layout?

In V2020.1 "n" is "pop out orginal", "pop out tile" has no key assigned to it.

'Pop out original' shows the original in 'Filters.Recent', which is by design synced with the source. Switch to another filter or bin to stop it.

By the way, if you like my feature request here, give it a '+ 1', please.

To briandrys: I meant to say “pop out original.”

To Hugly, thanks as always.
