Dear All

I've been trying to work out how to alter the colour of a single letter from a title created. Can anyone help? Do I need to use Boris or other (...which is entirely new to me.)

Thank you in advance,

From what I see, you'll need to put in a text effect for each letter of the word, if they're a different colour

If you want single letter to be different, you need one text effect for the other letters and a second one for the letter in a different colour.

Much appreciated. I'll give that a try.

For this sort of job I usually use Affinity, Photoshop or similar and save the text as a PNG file with transparency. That can then be imported as an image key effect. Lightworks' title effect is rudimentary at best - I very rarely use it.

Many thanks all. Can I further ask, if I create the logo in Photoshop, as I did previously as a png etc., If I then wanted to then 'crawl' it across the screen as per the Lightworks 'titles' option. What would you use as the best option for that?

Done it. Sorted! Thanks for all your help.

Managed to duplicate the original crawling text in 'Effects' 'Titles', changing the colour of the duplicate accordingly, and removing letters and spacing from the original.

Seems to work perfectly!
