You use mark and park to select the clips.

You can either drag and drop these into the new position, or use "x" to delete or "z" to remove the clips and then place the playhead at the new location and "f" for clipboard insert or "g" for clipboard replace, They will be now located at the playhead.

'Mark' means set and in-mark (I-key or the symbol on the viewer) 'Park' means position the timeline marker. That's sufficient to mark a section, an out-mark isn't needed in Lightworks.

You can remove existing marks with the symbol on the viewer or P-key.

Same procedure.

A marked section and all related operations affect all enabled tracks.

Make sure that Auto Track Sync is selected in the timeline menu under timeline commands.

I understand that you use drag and drop in the timeline. Please be aware that this is an operation to replace (hold down Shift-key prior to dropping to insert).

I'd suggest trying the cut and paste method as well.

Personally, I'd use the keyboard method, it's fast and accurate.
