Hey! I'm trying to edit a video with footage shot by an Iphone XR. Most of the clips are fine, but a couple are giving me the error message when trying to import them into Lightworks of "check frame rate and audio sample rate". Can someone please tell me a really simple way to fix this? And why does it only effect a few clips?

Hello,

This message indicates that the frame rate and/or audio sample rate of the material either don't match project settings or aren't supported at all. The latter isn't that likely.

Please post a Mediainfo report of the footage.

Thank you,

Mediainfo shows a non-standard nominal frame rate of 25.697 FPS. That's close to, but not exactly, 25 fps and will lead (if imported) to sync issues, namely drifting sound.

Although it might be possible to import this material in 25 and 24 fps projects, you'll have to convert with third party software prior to import to avoid sync issues.

Try most recent version of Handbrake 1.2.2. Select preset 'Production.Standard'and from 'Video' tab, change the value of 'Frame rate (FPS)' from 'Same as source' to '25'. Tell how that works for you.

It still didn't work Another thing is when I created my project I set the frame rate as 30 fps I believe. Could that be an issue?

Ooh I just tried the Handbrake trick but set the frame rate to 30 and it worked!
