hello
excuse my english but i am french

I have got a problem with the software
after importing my files ( .MTS files) ; i start editing

at first everything is OK, but after a short moment, editing my videos, cutting and queuing them to make a single video, the sound and the image are no longer syncro

But i have been carefull that I cut both sound and video together during editing , btw, this soudn and images are linked together because it comes from my camera
I noticed that when it happens, the sound comes a little late after the video, and there s a delay

And what is very strange is that if I remove all the files from the timeline, and put back again a video file from the imported files, the delay is still there !!

does anyone know what happened and how to fix this?

thank you

Hello,

First, bottom center of the start screen you'll find version and revision of Lightworks. Please make sure that you run most recent release, currently V14.5, downloadable under 'Downloads' on top of this page.

On under powered hardware, audio delay can happen in preview while editing, even with embedded audio, but it should not happen in exported files. If the delay is present in exported files as well, try converting with Handbrake (handbrake.fr/) ***. Use 'Production.Standard' preset, create a new project to test the converted file and see if it fixes the issue.

Edit: Just to avoid misunderstandings, I mean converting the MTS file (the source) with Handbrake prior to import, not the file exported with Lightworks.
It's better to travel well than to arrive...
