So, I'm entirely new to all this editing stuff, and I'm not at all tech savvy yet, so be as simple as possible when you respond please.

I'm having a bit of an issue with importing clips. They go black a few seconds in when I play them back, and I can't seem to fix it for some reason. It's also sped up when I didn't already speed it up in editing.I'm not sure what's happening, but since it goes black, I can't edit it at all. Please help. Thank you.

Uh, so I tried to figure out how to use that, but I don't know what I'm doing with that either. So, I guess I can't get more specific than I was in my first post. So does that mean I can't fix whatever's going on?

Mediainfo is quite easy to use.

Select the video file using open in file in the top left of Mediainfo.

Use view to create a text report.

Copy that and paste it into your next message.

EDIT chances are that your video has a low frame rate/
