What I see:

If Firefox or IE is going to refresh a Lightworks page only a small part of the top of the page is displayed. Browser restart and deleting browser buffers doesn't help. This happens from time to time and problem disappears after a while.

The spam from the Software Activation forum was removed but some unknown amount of time passed before the site updated. I don't know how much time but more than enough to note the problem. You may be able to note the time of my post and the time of spam removal to see if there is, in fact, a problem. Or, 2 hours and 7 minutes after spam was posted compared to the time of my post.

If I understand correctly we have two different issues here.

Known issue which was reported to me a week ago or so, but I haven't seen it on my own yet. If you come across it please try and write down what action might have caused it.

Potentially the category index page displays the spam posts which got disabled (and stay hidden from users) by one of Forum Moderators but haven't been removed from the forum permanently yet. It seems to be a bug as disabled posts should not appear on the index page. I am going to schedule some time to look into this when the time permits.

With thanks,
Peter

I have seen the problem Hugly reports. I'm running Google Chrome. Nothing I can do clears the problem. I just wait to visit the forum at a later time. The issue clears with time. The next time I see it, I'll try to get a screen grab.

Just had it happen to me on Chrome. The action that I took to trigger it this time was to go to a group then back to the forums. Since I've done that countless times in the past I don't see how that could be important.

Immediately prior to that the forum had been hit with five spam posts, three of which I'd removed. One of the ones that I removed had an attachment which I didn't open. The most recent post also had an attachment, but since I didn't delete that I can't tell whether it was opened or not.

Let me guess a possible reason for both issues:

Forum server software is busy with some cleanup or reconstruction of page contents and blocks proper display and/or update?

Saw a similar issue a couple of days ago - as I recall - lasted a short time - an hour or so - all fine after that - not problems now.

Hi all,

The UI glitch visible on the screenshot by hugly in post #123301 should now be fixed.

As per the original report by donkpow I could not find any issues despite testing this extensively. My theory is that the post was removed between the time you visited the forum page and clicked on the "Last post" link. Does it sound like the case?

With thanks,
Peter

I just saw the thing a couple of days ago. Generally, I don't access a forum via the "Last post" feature if the lead thread appears to be spam. I will open a forum, click the thread title, and access the thread that way.

I appreciate your efforts on this trivial matter. Assuming that the issue was being studied, I didn't report the latest incident. I will make effort to report the issue, if I see it again.

With thanks,

Don

Here is another fail to update event, this date at the time indicated. The thread does not currently exist even though the topic title is presented. I assume thread was deleted sometime previous to this point in time.
