Lightworks needs the uncompressed folder.

Since the compressed archive shared above is valid and contains the expected archive folder, it could be that native JobsOS doesn't support the RAR format.

I've attached (read: I'm trying to attach) the same thing in ZIP. Does that work?

Thx for your comment Cormack, I'm going to try it out with 8GB of unified memory, hopefully tomorrow - and will comment for any other interested Mac users

I have a MacBook Air with M1 on my shopping list as replacement for the existing, but I hesitate purchasing the very first released generation.

From what I understand, after reading a few short publications, the GPU and the CPU of the M1 treat the entire available memory as shared/unified memory, i.e. if 16 GB are available, both can address and use the 16 GB.

Do you have different information?

Hi, I'm just setting up/testing a Mac mini M1 16GB ram 1TB internal drive.

here's the results of your test clips & sequence, only with the free MP4 export option as this lwks is on the free license at the moment.

Since I posted in the other thread I figured I would give this a try.

It is unclear how and where I "Set 'Project.Video.GPU Precison to 16-bit'"

No rush as I have another long running video clean up task ongoing that will take another day or so.

On the project card, 'Project.Video.Output.GPU Precision':

Just detected that Lightworks believes to see only 3.8 GB of installed 16 GB of main memory. Any ideas what this is caused by?

Nice. What hardware is that? Do you have a dual-boot system with Linux?

Hi,

The latest Beta build (revision 127893) has improvements for handling M1 hardware and memory recognition (although this was missed off the fix list, apologies)

Please can you download the latest build and retest?
