TOPIC: Updated LWKS, jumpy glitchy footage

Updated LWKS, jumpy glitchy footage 2 weeks, 6 days ago #240968

I apologise if this is not in the correct forum.

I've just been obliged to update to LWKS 2021.2 and I am currently using the free version.

Since the new version messed up an existing edit, I decided to start again and re-edit my footage. Now, however, the same footage which was without fault before is jumpy, glitchy and it flickers a bit like old 35mm film!

I must stress that I am not technically minded and wondered if some kind soul might be able to advise what to do to rectify the situation described above?

Hello,

Please right-click on the timeline and check 'Playback format'. What does it say?

Thanks for responding - it is saying 720p, 23.98fps

I've just gone through the drop down menu and tried all the other available frame rates and it has made no difference...

Would you mind sharing a screen recording which shows the phenomenon clearly Something like the sample shared here:

Thank you. Well, it shows it clearly enough, but it isn't clear to me what that is. Without knowing your original recordings, it looks to me like a performance problem, a lot of skipped frames.

Could you share your computer details (OS/version, CPU, RAM, GPU) and the mediainfo of the clip 00022 in your timeline?

Edit: Deleted the obsolete question.
