A short piece of your original file format would be good to have - or at least a MediaInfo readout from that. Can you records a few seconds only?

I'm not completely sure what you want but I know I included the info thing in post number 8000 on the first page of this thread along with my sample video

My computer is rather limited--the only way I can send you anything is to export it from Lightworks and upload it to YouTube, which of course changes all the settings you want to check.

Anyway, here is a section of the GoPro clip, showing how the audio is both slowed down and out of sync with the image when I import it into a 60 fps project. I hope this will help.

Oh I just realized there is a 12.0.1 beta. I can't install it right now but does any one know if this is fixed or attempted to be fix in it? And that's why I didn't want to install 12.0. 11.whatever the latest one was, was suiting my needs perfectly.

Content redacted for irrelevant, unsubstantiated and non-constructive criticism of Lightworks developers which has antecedents in an earlier abusive post by the user.

Following on from your previous post, 08mm, as I said earlier, the bulk of us here are users, just like you. While I didn't have the opportunity to read your original post, what I did receive as a moderator was a complaint about it lodged by another user.

I appreciate that you're frustrated, but the tone of your posts is now alienating the very people who are best placed to help you - users who use the software on a daily basis.

With every beta version there is a post identifying changes made and bugs fixed. Check the Announcements forum for the details. If the current version appears to address your problem, try it. If you're nervous about losing your previous version, install the beta into a new folder - I use C:\Program Files\LWbetaVxx.x, where xx.x is the version number. You will then be able to run the beta version or the original install as you wish.

I just installed the latest beta. The beta does not fix this problem. Any other ideas?

I can confirm this issue persists in the LWKS V 12.0.1.d still, and it already persisted in V 12 (each x64).

The trouble happens when trying to transcode certain AVCHD formats with variable bitrate (in my case from a Nokia Lumia 625 phone) using the Lightworks internal transcoder during import.

I tried to transcode the same source footage with an external transcoder (Autokode) and they link in Lightworks without any problems.

So the internal Lightworks transcoder causes the issues.
Which is really sad because the internal transcoder recently converted my stuff twice as fast as any external ones.

I'll open a redmine ticket.

Thanks, Tim. Did you see my other post about being unable to download Autokode here? I try and stay across support tools, but this is one I definitely can't here in the land down under.

No I didn't see it. Maybe you can PM me to clarify the details.

Cheers,

If you read my posts you knew the source of the problem is the internal LWKS transcoder in combination with variable frame rate video.

I had this same issue. I also use Shadowplay to record content, but I managed to fix this by simply linking video to edit and not trans-coding or copying locally.

This seems to only be a problem if you're editing in anything higher than 30FPS, it's probably as David Tristan said that the sound bugs out and gets slowed for some reason. Even though your clip is recorded in 60FPS.
Would be nice if it was fixed since Youtube know accepts 60FPS.
