This should be good for people who are looking to do titles. One thing to note is that the "(I recommend you to use the same size as your video)" text should be on the first method and not the second. Or possibly on both. Images that get imported should be the same as the video, whereas images that are used through the Image key it really doesn't matter (there is a max res based on the video card). With bigger images, the Image key can then be used to pan and zoom the image. Good document nonetheless! |

@frandesouza. Thanks for the update. It is excellent. Is there a Spanish version?
@Forum Admin. May I suggest that the Dutch and Swedish versions (see first post) of Hints and Tips be put on the Downloads page? |

Muchas gracias. Muy bueno.
How do you manage to make the screen grabs so sharp and clear? I know you use InkScape. Do you convert the bitmaps to some sort of vector-based image? When I made the Lightworks Lingo PDF, even using lossless pngs, the images of menu text are nowhere near as sharp and clear. EDIT I did a quick Web search and found this tutorial on converting bitmaps to vector images. |

@shaunthesheep, when I make screenshots I use the print-screen key and then I paste it into GIMP and export is as a .png or .jpg.

@sennahojx. I do the same only I use Paint.net which doesn't take so long to launch as GIMP. Then I run the png file through Radical Image Optimisation Tool (RIOT) which reduces the file size down to an acceptable level for the Web.

@shaunthesheep, maybe RIOT or Inkscape is the problem. GIMP creates acceptable file sizes, a screenshot of my whole screen (1680x1050) exported to .jpg is just 824kb.
