Hello,

Does anyone know how to stop objects/effects from constantly moving around the screen (away from their original position)? An example is putting text and pictures (in a picture) in my project and setting the Scale, X, Y position. But it then moves away from that position and/or changes size. It doesn't seem to matter that I edit the graph section to ensure the settings are the same at the beginning and end of the clip, they still move/change.

Is there a way I can disable this feature somehow? It's infuriating and making the end result terrible.

Thanks

Even slight differences between the values of pairs of keyframes lead to movement. Your screenshot looks as if you don't need keyframe but you have enabled them.

For static positions (static values, in general), disable keyframes.

If you need horizontal lines (read: static values) with keyframes enabled, copy and paste the value from one keyframe to it's next neighbour, one by one.
It's better to travel well than to arrive...

If these objects are lit, then click to turn off keyframing.

I do need to adjust the objects/pictures/text in the project though, which means I need them enabled. I was just wondering how you can just set one setting and it not change as the video progresses?

Unfortunately I need those effects enabled for my project (to resize text/objects etc). My problem is that the text/objects won't stay the same size from start to finish.

Clicking on the stopwatches shown in the screenshot does not restrict the static setting options in the Setting tab. Only the possibility to change the settings within the effect runtime ("Keyframing") and the display in the "Graphs" tab will be deactivated.
You only need the "Graphs" tab if you want the settings to change during the effect runtime.

Are static settings sufficient for you?

By "Static" values we mean the values you set in the "Setting" tab (adjustable with the slider, or by changing the number with the keyboard).
