Every time i make a video in Lightworks, i almost always start a new sequence, which has one video track, and one audio track. I then manually add two new audio tracks, one above and one below the original track, labeled "Voice" and "sound effects" respectively.

Is there any way to set Lightworks to create new sequences with these additional two tracks already there?

- Position the mouse on the symbol for new sequences in the flexible layout.
- Click left right mouse button and follow the settings menu:

I can not say if this is adjustable within the fixed layout, but the setting in the flexible layout seems to be effective in both layouts.

Once you've done that, open your keyboard settings and assign Ctrl-Y to "Add video track" and Ctrl-U to "Add audio track". There will always be those times that you need a little extra. In fact, because I often add audio tracks in pairs, I've gone one step further and created a macro which adds two audio tracks and is assigned to Shift-Ctrl-U, and another that adds a video track and two audio tracks assigned to Shift-Ctrl-Y. Here's the first macro:

Name=Add2audio
Description=Add two audio tracks to your timeline
Commands=Add audio track(2)

- and here's the second:

Name=AddVaudio2
Description=Add one video and two audio tracks to your timeline
Commands=Add video track(1),Add audio track(2)
