How to add audio tracks? 1 year, 1 month ago #141099

i've been editing a video for hours now but cant figure out how to add audio tracks. i know about the process, but the audio got cut off due to me seperating my 1 video into 2 edits. i cant figure out how to add audio tracks into a specific spot in the A1 and the A2 sound tracks. please help someone

Im on the new update 14.0 i think its called, and the yellow lines on the audio tracks have gone that allowed you to turn down the audio? how can i do it now?

Please don't double post, it causes confusion for other user. There is a reply in your thread on this subject.

To add tracks in V14 you right click on the timeline, select tracks in the menu and select audio.

If i get what you're saying,

Hold down the SHIFT key, and LEFT CLICK to add the little dots on the sound line and move it the same way (SHIFT+CLICK)

Yes!

There's also a command assignable to a keyboard shortcut of your choice (ALT+A for example) which toggles the audio mode permanently without the need to hold down shift key permanently: "Toggle timeline audio levels".
It's better to travel well than to arrive...
