Anybody has the same problem to connect the old VIP console Mark II ?
(see screenshot)
It seems it is an 'unsupported' console...???
Any solution?

Are you still trying to use it with a laptop? Did you ever get the MKI to work?
I use a MKII and it works flawlessly. Although I have a tower with a serial port.
I'm not employed by or officially represent LWKS Software Ltd or Lightworks. I'm just a Lightworks user.

yes I have a Laptop! but USB serial adapter (works!)

So you have no more problems? Great!

It would be a good idea to post your USB adapter solution for others who want to go that way.

I think moderators should stick a FAQ topic for the console as the same questions come up quite often.

The USB Adapter works!
But not the console!
See screenshot I posted above!

To get the USB Adapter working just load the the driver for your OS version from
