Ubuntu 18.04; LW beta 120288.

Took a while to figure this out. Hope it saves others some time.

I run a 2-monitor system, one above the other. My OS keyboard shortcut for moving an active screen to the upper monitor is “Ctrl + Up arrow” and to move it to the lower monitor is “Ctrl + Down arrow”

These keyboard shortcuts are [I think – bad memory] the default keyboard shortcuts in Lightworks for moving forward and backward between keyframes. In any event, my LW shortcuts for moving ahead and back to keyframes were the same.

The OS shortcuts prevail. In LW, and wanting to move forward to the next keyframe, “Ctrl + Up arrow” moves the LW screen on the lower monitor to the upper.

Changing the LW keyboard shortcut for “Next keyframe” to ‘Ctrl + N’ and for “Previous keyframe” to ‘Ctrl + P’ solves the problem.

That appears to me a to be a customized assignment?

Don't we all do that from time to time?

Ich höre dich, mein deutscher Bruder. Made the first mistake in life in 1994 or '95, and here I've made another. Hope it isn't becoming a pattern.

One of my bosses at Bertelsmann said years ago : "8 of 10 of my decisions are wrong, with the rest we make the money".
