Thanks for your work in making LW open source & free.

I'm a chinese user who try to localize it into chinese language, as we did for Blender 3D which is a good opensource animation software. I have already tried the 'Wording' function, but I couldn't input any chinese charactor. Then I import the 'words.LwWords' file which was written in chinese, it's display wrong as well.

If users can't input chinese text & subtitle or any other asian fonts also, it's a big problem for an edit system. So what can we do?

Make sure you change the font on the Preferences panel to one that has the Chinese characters in it.

I tried again. I can't input any chinese words by using google and microsoft chinese input method.
I don't know how to upload pictures, you can see the screenshot of my input method here:

I wanted to name a project in chinese:

But after I put ENTER key, nothing happened:

As well as renameed a Bin, a Rack, whatever:

After Enter

I can input nothing in chinese inside lightworks' desktop, but I can paste chinese charactors from other place:

My friend has the same problem with his computer.

Is it a bug?

This file would need to be encoded using UTF-8 to be displayed correctly
