TOPIC: Video & Audit out of sync when I import a File

Video & Audit out of sync when I import a File 4 months, 1 week ago #169229

Hi all,

I'm a Lightworks newbie and hoping for some help. I have taken some screen captures using Snagit on my laptop. When I try and import these into Lightworks, two things happen:

1) The audio & the video are out of sync.
2) The file is getting cut off. The clip only lasts about 15 seconds when I play it in Lightwokrs, but when I play the MP4 file in Snagit/VLC/Windows Movie the video lasts almost 1 minute.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't know if I'm importing incorrectly, or if I should be taking the clips differently

My Project in Lightworks is using Mixed rates Frame rate, and here are the details of the video from Media Info:

OK, I realised that this is because it was recorded in Variable Frame rate. I am now trying to convert using Eye Frame Converter. Please ignore this question.
