Hey, I've just started using Lightworks 14 for editing some video's and i've stumbled upon some problems lately. I've been able to export 2 video's with the youtube format, 30 fps and 720p. But yesterday it stopped exporting and it's giving me the message: The system cannot find the file specified. i've only recorded the same kind of video's with OBS studio and even exported 2 of them. Did someone have this problem before and does someone know a solution?

Thank you.

Hello and welcome!

Well, that's a known error message.

Please use forum search and search for "The system cannot find the file specified". You'll find a whole lot of discusssions about the issue.

Most likely the problem is related somehow to the footage you use.

When does the message appear, as soon as you start exporting or during export?

As soon as I am exporting, I've tried the old footage that I could export some days ago but isn't exporting the same files either.

That's as strange as the whole phenomenon.

Are you able to reproduce the phenomenon with a single file in a newly created project?

I believe it should be possible to fix the problem by converting your footage.

If you wish to find out, a mediainfo report of your footage would be needed. Here you'll find directions:

Thanks.

How was this file created, did you convert your original screen recording using VLC? If so, please post a mediainfo of the original OBS recording.

I see. Many members of this forum have reported about severe trouble using files converted with VLC to edit in Lightworks.

Eyeframe Converter is frequently used to convert native OBS recording to edit-friendly codecs. Please try this procedure:
