Getting that lovely "System Clock Irregularity" error.

Brand new laptop running Windows 10, just installed Lightworks 64-bit, haven't ever used it before.

So far I've tried, in this order:
-closing and rebooting lightworks
-restarting the laptop
-checked the BIOS clock, which was accurate, as is the system clock
-deleted the G0001000 and P0001000 folders
-uninstalled & reinstalled lightworks
-deleted the previously mentioned folders again
-uninstalled lightworks, deleted and reinstalled the installation app, reinstalled lightworks
-folder deletion take 3

Is there anything else I can try?

Hello,

Very uncommon. I assume that you have moved some projects from an old to the new computer. How did you move them?

Hi!

I've never used Lightworks before, so there weren't any projects to move

Even more uncommon.

If you run Windows Defender Controlled Folder Access, disable Defender temporarily.

If there are no projects to loose, with Lightworks shut down, deleted the entire folder "Lightworks" at
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Lightworks
Restart the program and see what happens.

My pleasure.

May I ask, did you delete the Lightworks folder or did simply disabling Defender fix the issue?

I only disabled Defender, since that was faster to get to than the Lightworks folder and it seemed better to try one suggestion at a time so I could pinpoint the solution in case it happens again at some point.
