That means, I took seriously that you intend starting a Youtube channel, I just couldn't imagine that you plan doing this with a watermark.

You're probably right. I guess I'm just getting too excited, and therefore putting effort in the wrong places. Lol. It's too bad the only one that's perfect doesn't work on my computer without complex swapping of the GPU.

When my dad is available, I'll ask him about it. He'll probably be too busy to do it, or view it as unimportant, but if he doesn't, for some reason, I'm sure he'll do the process, and I'll be able to use Lightworks. Hopefully that happens.

Oooo, VSDC Video Editor is free, has all the features I need, and works on this computer! It's not as intuitive, but it's certainly worth the effort to learn if it actually works.

Thanks for all your help guys, both in attempting to fix Lightworks, and guiding me away from the watermarked Filmora. Very grateful for the quick responses that allowed me to get this on the right track much faster!

I see someone has been asking questions about this issue here, but for some reason when I came here, I can't see them, so I'll just respond from what I saw in my email.

I apologize, but I can't help you. I honestly had almost no idea what I was doing, and I never went through with replacing the graphics card, as it was far above my level. However, though Lightworks failed to work on my computer, I did find another editor that works very, very well, called ‘*********.’ The only things you have to pay for are subpixel resolution, hardware acceleration, waveforms and some advanced masking. The only thing I’ve wished to use are the waveforms, but it hasn’t been a huge deal for me while editing. I’ve been using it for about three months, and not had much trouble. You might want to check it out. : )

They were spam posts which have been removed and the offenders blocked from access to this forum.

These are the Lightworks forums, so I have deleted your promotion of another product. For the same reason, hugly, I have deleted your post altogether. Just a word of warning: while we're pretty tolerant of mentions of other products here, anything that can be taken to be actively promoting a competing product contravenes forum rules and will be deleted.

Promotion? I would have thought seeing a product which doesn't compete to Lightworks at any level. Another example how far opinions can differ.
