Exit Lightworks the way that you would quit any other program. Click on the "X" in the bar at the top of screen.

This is really funny that the application does not have any exit button or save as button. How come it would be considered so called Industry standard. Really!

Welcome to the forum.

In time users come to realise that LW is the gold standard - there is no save button because all one's work is constantly being saved. Work-in-progress on an edit can saved as a copy of that edit within' the software itself.
BETA System
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64BIT
HP Z800 Workstation

In addition to Auto Save, you can also save your projects manually. This is called project backup, and is available in the project settings.

There's probably some misunderstanding.

As users of the Free License, we see "Sign in" about once a week, where we should enter our access data.
Nowadays with many internet applications the term "Sign in" is probably misleading for Lightworks.
In Lightworks "Sign in" is simply a reactivation of the license, after that you can use Lightworks free for about 7 days without internet access, because your projects are not stored in an internet cloud by default, but on your local computer, or on a location you have chosen yourself. Therefore, the "sign in" is not comparable to the "sign in" on web pages, or certain apps that use clouds to store data. Maybe Lightworks should rename this?

Something else is when multiple people are using the same computer.
Lightworks was designed to allow multiple people to work on the same project (especially with the Pro license). Therefore, by default, all user accounts on a computer have full access to all projects (at least on Windows). However, if other people use the computer who are not fully trusted (perhaps in educational institutions, or within the family with children and guests), this may be undesirable. There are probably solutions for this, but they are a little more complicated.
If you need more detailed tips, information on how to use your computer to make suggestions will be helpful.

That user has now been blocked. They were raising unrelated issues just to post links to facebook. Their posts have been deleted.

I interpreted it as meaning that facebook was just a comparison. So no question, which referred to facebook, but only a question, why this kind of log out is not possible in Lightworks?

Maybe just a misunderstanding due to translation?

The other thread was about audio sync and the post was completely unrelated to the subject matter, including the same facebook link. How is your post related to this thread, hugly?

I was just thinking loud, but can't remember exactly what I was thinking about that moment. Feel free to delete, if you think it disturbs the flow of arguments.
