Hi.

Somebody wrote few weeks ago, probably on the beta forums, how to run Lightworks within a Wayland session, but the post seems to be deleted.

If you're experiencing an error dialog with "Unable to create main window" message, try to run Lightworks with:

GDK_BACKEND=x11 /usr/bin/lightworks

You can make this change permanent within a /usr/bin/lightworks script, by changing the last line from:

#Launch the app
/usr/lib/lightworks/ntcardvt

to:

#Launch the app
GDK_BACKEND=x11 /usr/lib/lightworks/ntcardvt
