I'm having two issues currently while editing a .mp4 recorded by my niece in Open Broadcast Software.

1.Audio pitch down; it seems that the audio is pitched to a deeper voice in auto or 60 FPS settings.

2.Video cut short; i lose the last minute of video when dragging it into the timeline.

Setting the project fps to 30 fixes both these issues, but the mp4 is 60 fps. Would having the project setting at 30fps mess up the exported video? This is probably a bug reported before, if so i am sorry the the duplicate post.

Here is the media info of the video. If you need the source video to diagnose, i'll upload it as well on request.

Your problem is a common one with screen capture software - variable frame rate recording. Most non linear editors have trouble handling variable frame rate media. You need to convert the media to a fixed frame rate format to use it in Lightworks.

You will find EyeFrame here. It was created by a Lightworks user, tin2tin, for just this sort of problem. Alternatively you could use Cliptoolz Convert to do the same thing. Both are free.

Finally, I'll move this thread to the "Screen capture" forum in due course, and leave a link here for you.

Same issue with video, even after converting it to constant 60fps. I used iframe and now handbrake with the same results.

If the current release of Lightworks will handle 1080p60 media at all, you should try importing the media into a 24 fps project. That will handle a range of frame rates.

Failing that, try downloading the latest beta version and installing that. As long as you install it to a different folder it will happily coexist with your current version.
