Hello-

I'm getting a message when I installed Lightworks x64 on Windows 7:

"There are no supported audio devices detected."

And it does not open.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum.

EDIT

I see (from your Profile) that you use your preferred platform is a Mac but you are using Windows 7 (sorry, I mis-read OP).

If you play an audio file in a media player, can you hear it (assuming you have audio monitors attached to your computer)?

Have a look in Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Playback and Recording tabs and see if there is an audio device listed in the drop down menu.

Does your computer have an onboard audio device or a specialist audio PCIe card?

Hello and welcome!

Most mainboards have an onboard audio device. Even without loudspeakers connected, activating the audio device should fix the problem.

What operating system (and version) do you run?
