Here is another observation, which might be a bug.

I have a background video in V3, a resized overlay video in V2, and an overlay image in V1 (masked by a Chromakey):

This image is hidden for guests. Please log in or register to see it.

Previously this worked fine, the masked image and the resized video was displayed on top of the background video. Then, I expanded the clip in V2 ("Scene02") to the right by unjoining its right edge and adding a couple of frames. After rejoining, the background and the masked image suddenly disappeared from the output viewer; only V1 is now visible:

This image is hidden for guests. Please log in or register to see it.

The routing panel looks like this:

This image is hidden for guests. Please log in or register to see it.

(Note that both the V1 and V3 nodes are black!)

Hi WolfR, If you can upload a small sample edit before extending the V2 clip for us, it would be very helpful.

HI Cookiecutter,
unfortunately the files involved in this project are very large, and trying to replace them by shorter clips seems to destroy the test arrangement.

No problem thank you for trying. I have set up a similar edit with effects, but cannot make it lose the video; will keep trying.
