So I have recently started using lightworks to edit my YouTube videos. It is absolutely amazing and has everything I need so far. The only problem is that when I drag my video file into the editor and just look through it to see what I have to edit, the end part of the video is just black when the video isn't over yet. I really don't know hot to fixit and I need to fix it.

Hello,
That's likely to be caused by your footage having a non-standard frame rate. Could you post a Mediainfo report of the troublesome video, please? Here you'll find directions: www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=23&id=66072&Itemid=81#66072 |

but the thing is, it's for all of the videos and just at the last 40 seconds of the clip
what does that have to do with non-standard frame rate
It usually involves a lower frame rate video, which Lightworks plays at a its standard frame rate, the sound goes on, but you've run out of picture frames frames and everything goes black.
The Mediainfo will assist in finding a solution, remember, the users in the forum don't know anything about your video. |

Consequently, different playback speed of video and audio can happen, which leads to wrong duration on the video track. Would you mind sharing a Mediainfo report, as requested? |

Ok, sorry.

When I try to finish the download qscan, at the end there is a weird thing that pops up and I don't know what to do

The tool you need is Mediainfo, not QScan.
On the sticky linked to above, the link to the Tools page is wrong. It links to the QScan page, instead of Tools. This bug has been newly invented and I suspect briandrys wasn't aware of it when posting. Please see: www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=27&id=235619&Itemid=81 |

The video has a non-standard frame rate of 28.259 FPS.
You can use Handbrake to convert to a standard frame rate, prior to import, to see if it fixes the issue. I'd suggest using straight 30 fps. Here you'll find suitable settings: www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=23&id=166802&Itemid=81#209009 |
