I just upgraded to 2020.1. Previously scrolling my mouse wheel while in the Edit section would snap me to the next point or clip part; I assume that's how it's supposed to work and I have gotten used to that. Since upgrading that doesn't happen.
I can scroll through my list of clips, and the Ctrl+Scroll works to zoom in/out.

I have restarted Lightworks and restarted my PC.

Do I need to specifically enable this somewhere or is something broken?

Still works in flexible mode for what it's worth, but it's definitely repeatable in fixed mode. Since I don't normally use fixed mode I can't say whether this has been an issue since the start of the beta test cycle or not.

If the proposition is that in Fixed under Edit, Audio or VFX the scroll wheel does not jump from cut-pint to cut point - then I can't see that behaviour.

In Edit one must explicitly select the active edit - or any other object - to link it to the scroll wheel

There's a difference between Flexible and Fixed layout referring to the function of the mouse-wheel when hovering over the sequence timeline. This modification is intended.

In Fixed layout it jumps to next/previous if the mouse pointer is positioned over the timeline ruler, but not outside.

Personally, I appreciate this modification much, because I use Ctrl+<mouse-wheel> all day long to zoom-in/out on the timeline. When pressing the Ctrl-key one millisecond too late, the playhead jumped away unexpectedly. The limited region has reduced this risk dramatically.

Personally, I prefer the way it was, since you don't need to zoom in and out so much when moving from cut to cut.
