TOPIC: Audio is Lagging Behind

Audio is Lagging Behind 3 weeks, 5 days ago #203804

I've been working with Lightworks for a couple of years now and usually the problem can solve itself however I can't take it anymore. I start the playback, the video goes with no audio for a couple of seconds and then audio kicks in but it's lagging by the initial seconds. I close the program and try to re-open, still lags. I restart the computer, still lags, I let light works sit for a couple of minutes, still lags. There's even been times in the past where it starts off fine but as I work for hours on end it would start to lag. It also randomly fix. Sometimes that day, other times days. Please help.

Welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately, your computer is underpowered for video editing. Are you using the internal proxy editing with Lightworks V14.5?

Re: Audio is Lagging Behind 3 weeks, 5 days ago #203829

I don't think so, I didn't know there was an internal proxy edit.

However I'm not sure if this will fix your problem entirely, but it might reduce the delay.

What version of Lightworks do you run?
It's better to travel well than to arrive...

I would upgrade to V14.5, there are lot of improvements and there's no reason to stay with V14.
