This is more of a note than a request for help, but the Apple HEIC photo format isn't supported on Lightworks. I download a HEIC file and store it in my Photos folder, but Lightworks can't seem to see it when I try to import it.

If Lightworks IS supposed to be able to see HEIC, please let me know. I have been having other issues with Photo importing as well. This is why I have this entry listed under "Bugs".

Usually, a JPG or JPEG image will import just fine; however, sometimes Lightworks will see a JPG image, acknowledge that it is a JPG image on the import tab, but will have that photo greyed out and say that the format is unsupported. This happens even when I have successfully imported other JPG images from the same folder on the same project. For some reason, Lightworks simply says no to some pictures. Any advice? I would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you!

Yes, convert HEIC to some supported format, PNG for example.

I'll try that. What about the other issue?

Is this one or two files that won't import or more?

It seems to vary. Sometimes it's one, sometimes two. I don't typically add that many pictures to my videos so I can't say for sure how far the problem goes.

I think, if a picture doesn't load correctly, converting is always a good idea. I use IrfanView, a free image viewer, for that. It allows batch processing, but many other apps will do as well.
