There is a problem in Lightworks, there are audio parts missing randomly. I can't hear the audio before nor after exporting.

When the audio track has the name of the original file, the audio was played normally and nicely.

However, when the audio part has that name missing, the audio cannot be played.

How can I fix this problem? I don't wanna edit the video again...

The text in the audio tracks shouldn't make any difference. You can change the text in the audio track from source track to whatever you want using the timeline settings > appearance > segment text > select whatever you want from the list.

Is the purple audio tracks with the name the only one that plays?

  • briandrys: No, it is not the only one that plays. As seen from the photo, I've got my settings same for all audio track, they will be displaying names of the audio source. The weird thing is that all audio sources have their names but not all audio segments have their name shown. Those who haven't got their name shown cannot be played.
  • hugly: Yes, I'm still working on the same machine. Can you please explain what do you mean by the IP problem?

From your other thread:

Audios (adding sounds to the video): .mp3 ; .wav
Photos (inserting photos to the video): .jpg ; .png
Videos: .mov ; .mp4

Are the sound files different between the clips that have audio and those that don't?

In the photo, the green arrow shows the audio can be played, and the red shows those cannot.

Are the clip elements (tiles) in the project content ok (playback, metadata, etc.)?
"Prints" are the audio segments probably not?

If you are familiar with the flexible layout, Lightworks will be able to open the associated tile, filecard, and so on. Position the mouse on the audio segment, right-click, and:

Will the timeline audio segments work in a flexible layout after a reboot?

As already mentioned in the other discussion, your machine is far below the recommended system specss. With less than 1 GB of free RAM and HD media everything can happen:

Total Physical Memory: 2,890 MB
Available Physical Memory: 815 MB

Do you run the 32- or 64-bit version of Lightworks?
