Thank you.

Allow one question:

I've invested some time in trying to establish a shared project space on LAN with clients on OSX and Windows with no success. Physically, access is configured correctly, i.e I have no trouble accessing the shares for read and write access on both sides from within Lightworks.

Is mixing Windows and OSX clients supposed to work on a single shared project space?

Thank you - no big deal, but it saves the time wasted on further attempts.

No problem. Flow Story would be the best solution for cross-platform sharing.

Without knowing anything about the internals this suggests that the code for dynamic path mapping exists already but hasn't been (or will never be) moved to Lightworks?

Referring to #211272 Network scan Fedora 30, Windows 10.

The hanging system when scanning the network on Windows 10 appears to be caused by the not activated SMB 1.0 protocol. Activating SMB 1.0/CIFS fixes the problem.

I gather SMB 1.0/CIFS is a legacy protocol. For regular operations of Windows networks this protocol is obsolete. The related services are deactivated by default on Windows 10.

It would be good if Lightworks could throw a message that it cannot scan the network, maybe with some additional information what to look for, instead of just hanging.

Trouble shooting on networks is tricky business and there might be millions of issues I'm not aware of, but the problem on my system, is clearly related to SMB1.0.

If SMB1.0 is enabled, the network scan works flawlessly and detcets all local connections, if it's disabled, the networks scan hangs for a much too long period (white screen) and doesn't find anything. After testing it three times (SMB1.0 on/off) with 6 restarts of the OS, I'm pretty sure I could reproduce it all day long.

Edit: However, I think the discussion is academic. I don't expect to see a fix for this issue, because it has no impact on mainstream and there's a (now) known workaround.

'Find.References' doesn't work as expected.

Apparently, it detects if no reference exists, but it doesn't reveal existing references.
