That has been discussed in depth in various discussions. I'm not asking for any explanation, but only for some improvement.

With nudge or jog commands assigned to the jog wheel of the Shuttle Pro the operations react much too slow and overshoot extremely over material in the timeline, even when using high performance codecs and high end hardware. It feels like working against a much too long rubber band, not ergonomic at all. It's easy to show that this isn't caused by the Shuttle.

Please improve reactivity of those commands.

After some tests with nudge commands on the jog-wheel, on several edits with different material, I can say that the response of the jog-wheel feels much butter now, with V14.6.

Thank you for this improvement!

That motivates me saying, what I've said already elsewhere: Every enthusiast Lightworks user should own a Contour ShuttlePro V2.

Does nudge scrub audio in 14.6?

No, nudge commands don't scrub audio in V14.6, that hasn't changed.

I have nudge commands assigned to the jog-wheel, because the Shuttle buttons are not convenient for nudging. The kind of audio scrubbing provided by the main wheel, with the assigned play commands, is enough for me. However, I've tested both command sets, nudge and jog, and with both the 'slag' hysteresis on the recorder appears remarkably reduced with V14.6, at least here . (On the player it wasn't severe anyway).

Nice to know that it has improved in 14.6.

I use jog for the audio scrub and the function shift plus forward and reverse buttons for nudge. Nudge is only used to single frame correct the +3/-2 frame slop factor of the jog wheel that is consistent with the way I use it.

I see. Have you already installed V14.6 to feel the difference of jog-wheel operation with jog commands assigned?

Not yet. No time to play at the moment.

A reminder, to please report any V14.6 issues in the appropriate beta forum, rather than the main one,

Just to clarify: My post 6 days ago was by no means a bug report, but a positive feedback to my initial feature request. I operate the shuttle-wheel and the jog-wheel with customized key assignments which might explain that they work here, despite of this bug report in beta forums: www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=457&id=199291&Itemid=81#199291
