Found plenty of other threads of people having issues with video/audio sync on import and each seems to have its own solution according to its MediaInfo file... here is mine, I would be suuuper grateful to anyone that could help me fix mine!

Many thanks - Videography rookie and wannabe future pro

A quick edit to add that closing down LW the first time made no difference, but the second time on re-opening - everything lines up perfectly!!! Obviously not critical now but I'm curious......... ]]>

Whenever I import video the audio is always out of sync; it's delayed.

I assume this isn't normal. Is there a way around this or have I done something wrong? All I've done so far is import the files, so I can't imagine I've done something wrong already!

Thanks]]>

Audio Troubles - by: jcoopere425 https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=8&id=198807&Itemid=81#198807 https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=8&id=198807&Itemid=81#198807
I was in the process of doing some simple edits to a video (novice here), cutting and adding in dissolve transitions mainly. I had my bluetooth headphones connected to my Lenovo laptop at the time and the sound was working, albeit a little askew I believe due to the overlaps and dissolves. I disconnected my bluetooth headphones from my computer and attempted to play the segment without them and found there to be no sound. When I connected my headphones again, same thing. I can see that the audio is there as there is the sound bar under A2.

Has anyone else experienced this and been able to rectify. Thanks in advance.]]>

Audio mixer not functioning (very well) - by: stbiker https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=8&id=198747&limit=15&limitstart=15&Itemid=81#198747 https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=8&id=198747&limit=15&limitstart=15&Itemid=81#198747
Something is awry with the Audio Mixer in my Windows version of Lightworks 14.5.0.0

Although I can select and deselect tracks as well as select the "solo" button, none have any effect. Nor can I change the volume or pan.

Curiously, in one project if I, for example, solo a track, then shut the application down then re-open it, that track is solo'd. If I "un-solo" it, nothing happens, until I restart the application then it's un-solo'd.

In another project though it doesn't matter if I restart it. Nothing makes any difference. It always plays all tracks, all the time, at the same level with the same pan setting.

Also interestingly, if I used the "output tests" on the prject selection screen, that works fine - I can change settings including volume, signal frequency etc, and those changes take immediate effect.

I have a dual boot system and usually run Lightworks on Ubuntu. the Linux version does not have the same problem. Howevewr I want to start using the Windows version as the Linux version crashes alot when laying off and draws windows over each other as it doesn't use the screen resolution as efficiently.

If anyone has come across this audio mixer issue in the Windows version and knows a fix, please let me know - I would be most grateful! I can go back to Linux for now, but it would be great to get it fixed all the same!

I'm using Windows 7, version 6.1.7601 service pack 1. My laptop has an Intel i7 processor, 8Gb RAM. Sound card just shows as IDT High Definition Audio. Audio driver is within the file stwrt64.sys ver 6.10.6472.0

Thanks all]]>
