Audio sync issue with constant frame rate - by: pdg123 https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=8&id=184080&Itemid=81#184080 https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=8&id=184080&Itemid=81#184080
The video (without conversion from EyeFrame) that I imported to Lightworks has a constant frame rate of 30. However, when I play back the video in the project there is a lag to the audio.

FYI 1 - If I delete the project and start over, the length of the lag changes. Anywhere from say a quarter second to a full second. Once (after deleting the project and starting over) there was no lag when I imported, but as I played the video, the video froze and the lag re-appeared.

FYI 2 - if I export the project, or a section of, there is no audio lag. So that's good, but the lag within the editor is still hampering my ability to precisely edit the video (for example, if I want to splice in some b-roll at a very specific point).

I hope I'm missing something minor and I that someone can assist. Thanks in advance!

Audio always out of sync in the second video I import into the editing program! Lwks14.00 - by: mwaag https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=8&id=183914&Itemid=81#183914 https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=8&id=183914&Itemid=81#183914
I am totally new to this - but I really hope I can get some help!

I have a problem with the audio in every single one of my Lightworks projects!

If I am to import more than one original video file - the second file gets slightly out of sync with the audio - EVERY SINGLE TIME! - just a few seconds or less delay but it's super annoying because the mouth is moving totally out of sync with the voice! It happens from the moment I have imported it

I have tried to import the second video in different ways adding it into the project - but it happens every time no matter what I do!!
In the original file on my computer everything is fine! But the imported file (in the project folder) becomes out of sync also - after it ha been added to the project - it's like it's disrupting it - super weird. so I cannot remove it from the project and then add it again because it will import the already imported and disrupted file - so I have to delete everything and start over -not very viable strategy though... (so I obv. need help here! )

I also know the formats are compatible (AVCH) - so that's not the issue either!

And if I create a new project using that piece of film that was the second piece as the first piece in the new project I don't have that problem - it just happens for the second one!

I need to add several videos to the project and I want to be able to do it as I edit - not everything at once from the beginning (because I decide along the way)- so I hope there is a solution to this!

Can someone please help me - I have used so much time on this and I really cannot figure it out!

I'm using Lightworks 14.00

Thank you sooooo much! You're saving me!!! ]]>

I have a problem to sync video and audio together. When I get them to sync- at approx 10 sec later its again out of sync. I have tried to slow down and speed up video and audio- but doesn't seem to work. Still problem appears. Even if i set rate 24fps or 30fps or do it in mixed rates- they are still is out of sync.
I have load the Lightworks few days ago and i have a windows 10. Dell Optiplex 3050 SFF.

I'm a new at video editing, so please explain what I'm doing wrong in very newbie-proof-language.

Many thanks!]]>

Audio EQ - by: Chichbak https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=8&id=183604&Itemid=81#183604 https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=8&id=183604&Itemid=81#183604 I'm looking for information about using the Audio EQ in LTWKS 14. I want to remove some hiss from my audio and since there's an equaliser there I should be able to do it. The only tutorial that I found on You Tube was using the flexible interface (I'm using fixed) and also the guy was talking about buttons and icons that just aren't there on my screen. The instructions given on page 106 of the user guide aren't what I'm looking for. Why can't I just take out the very high frequences to get rid of the hiss? There's nothing about audio in the tutorials on this page either. I know I can export and do it in audacity, but it irritates me not being able to do such a quick and simple task when I'm sure there's a way to do it in LTWKS.
Any help would be much appreciated !]]>

(Take 3)

I have an issue with audio going out sync.

It is perfect in the original clip.

Regardless of whether I play it on the timeline or export it. It is out of sync.

It doesn't happen with all clips. All of these clips are from the same source.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
