Lightworks 2020.1 64bit Installation Error Windows 8.1 api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll - by: gpraveen1601 Installation / Drivers / Hardware / OS Tue, 01 Sep 2020 12:12:37 +0000 Upgrade from Free to Pro Monthly licence - by: Fruitbatty I upgraded to trial the Pro license on 21/8/2020 but can't seem to click on the Pro licence in the licences area to initiate a download. I also get the message below, which I find confusing as I should, surely, be able to access the Pro license with immediate effect. Does anyone have any answers please? Many thanks.

Note: New PRO licenses would not become available for the current machine until the existing license expires.]]>

Lots of crashes displaying thumbnails , would full license solve this ? - by: bodo.te Just started my 2nd video project, using latest free version 2020.1 (122068).
In contrast to my last big project (which i successfully finished about 2 years ago) now, with the newer version, it's hard or nearly impossible to work with lwks, because of the very frequent thumb-nail-display-crash-bug on my MacBook Pro with MacOS 10.15.6 (that others have already reported in this forum).

My questions are:

  1. What are my options?
  2. Older version without this bug seems to be not allowed,
  3. when using the free version, right ?
  4. What, when I am buying the 1 Month license, can I get and use an older Version ?
  5. Would an older version work at all on my MacOS 10.15.6 ?

In other words: What are the odds, that buying a license and trying older versions would solve my problem anyway ?

EDIT : actual bug report see:]]>
