This has probably been asked many times but tech moves on and things might have changed.

I am about to purchase the full licence, my PC (windows 7) is of high spec, i use it for music production but never graphics. It's got a twin Xeon CPU, SDD, 24 GB RAM, etc.. I had a look at what LWKS recommend on GPU's and they are a bit pricey, thanks to all the crypto miners....!!

What is the best GPU for the price that will be supported by LWKS - i'm not a gamer, just want it for video production.

Many thanks.]]>

BMPCC 4k or GH4 w/ Atamos? - by: funbun https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=21&id=183748&limit=15&limitstart=15&Itemid=81#183748 https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=21&id=183748&limit=15&limitstart=15&Itemid=81#183748
I've never really liked my GH4, but it had gotten the job done. I bought it back in April wanting the BMPCC 4k, but could not wait as I had work lined up. GH4 was a good cost saving purchase to get me shooting. But, now that BM is ramping up and it looks like they're going to deliver this thing as promised, I'm wondering what would be a better purchase now?

Also, on Linux what runs better: Prores or DNxHD(R)?]]>

The system must be restarted to complet the installation of Windows Installer - by: wackydavo https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=21&id=183664&Itemid=81#183664 https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=21&id=183664&Itemid=81#183664 www.lwks.com. I am running windows 10 64 bit. I get the same error for the beta (64 bit) and the release 64 bit and 32 bit installers. Any ideas?

The full error is: "The system must be restarted to complete the installation of Windows Installer. Once/nth [that error is there, not mine] system has been restarted, please run the Lightworks installer again."

(I have restarted multiple times).]]>

New to Lightworks and video editing - by: Tim martens https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=21&id=183355&Itemid=81#183355 https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=21&id=183355&Itemid=81#183355
I've been playing around with my first sequence and am not having any luck checking what I've edited. when I play the video, it stops at the cut, but, the sound continues till the end of the video. Is this a problem with memory?

Thanks, Tim]]>
