I'd like to change the dimension of my video from a 16:9 ratio but when I've done that; switching it to either NTSC/Pal 4:3 (which is the dimension I want) the video begins to shake slightly (but very visibly). Now I don't know much about computer software and have tried my best to look for an option where I don't need to ask for help with this directly but nothing I've found has helped... or at least I don't understand enough what is being said and in extension how to apply it to my problem.

This is the topic I've read on multiple occasions in an attempt to fix the problem but I really don't know what it suggests or how to apply it to get over this hurdle:

I would really appreciate help with this as quickly as possible not because of time constraints but out of frustration on what to do, as I've mentioned I've been looking for a solution for months but to no avail. I've found ways around it multiple times by using the extra space in 16:9 ratio as "aesthetic" but need it for my new project. If you need any information from me (about my computer) please give exact details on how to retrieve it.

Thank you in advance.]]>

Adding audio to video - by: RWhitton I'm afraid I'm pretty un-tech savvy! I'm trying to work out how to add audio to video (so a recording I filmed on my mobile and recorded with Audacity separately. I can't figure it out! Any advice??]]> Bugs Tue, 25 Jun 2019 12:21:42 +0000 'Play, Stop and Marker' Parameters not showing with 10 Video and FX Cues - by: NotTheMessiah
So the bar that houses the 'Play', 'Stop' and 'Marker' buttons seems to have got buried underneath the Video and FX section of the page since i've added 10 Cues..see the pictures below to really get what i mean, as i realise it may not make much sense

I've tried to pull the window down, zoom in/out and used various 'Ctrl', 'Cmd' and 'Fn' on Mac that I would normally associate with other software...but no luck

Any ideas?

Thanks ]]>

Exporting - by: Nokig Bugs Sun, 23 Jun 2019 19:23:34 +0000 Colour Temperature FX when removed causes black screen. - by: Jpaulbiss
I started using the Colour Temperature FX on a number of clips and decided that the camera settings were good enough so I started removing the effect from these clips. On a couple of occasions the entire clip when black this could only be restored by adding the FX again. In a couple of cases only a part of the clip went black. By going black I mean no picture, sound still working.
I have duplicated this a couple of time; but there is no fixed pattern.]]>

Unable to repair media [issue] - by: hugly
In a shared project space, with one single media location and some properly linked clips, rename the media location on OS level with Lightworks shut down, to simulate a somehow missing media location. Restart Lightworks and execute 'Media.Repair'. All available options end either with no message or with "Some media could not be restored".

The algorithm doesn't seems to recognize that a valid internal media location doesn't exist anymore (at least it doesn't tell the user), and shows a not existing location under 'Media.Locations' without a message. The colour of the volume indicator has no impact on that. I can imagine that this applies also to the local project space.]]>

Bit depth of the 3D LUT effect - by: hugly Bugs Fri, 21 Jun 2019 15:18:11 +0000 Color Correction affecting multiple tracts instead of one - by: Professor_Kitchen
I'm having a weird experience with the color correction. This is the first time it has happened.

I color corrected the A roll before I started editing. There are three spots where I moved or copied the A roll to another track. On two of those spots, the color is messed up and I can't get it to correct.

Here is the first time at 1:04.06 - 1:06.10. You can see that the left (V track 1) is over exposed.

Here at 5:26.13 - end of the video you can see that the background is overexposed.

The third time (that has no problems) is right before at 5:19.0 - 5;26.12. As you can see, there is no overexposure even though the settings are the same.

I have included an export of the sequence so that you can see what my settings are.

Is there any way for me to keep this from happening?
