As noted by others, the default location for Lightworks projects on Win7 (64bit) seems to be the "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Lightworks" folder.

The last post I can see referencing this seems several months old, but are there plans to enable this to be moved? I don't backup the public profile and have no interest in having other users be able to mess with the Lightworks files therein so any help with changing the default project file locations would be much appreciated (media files are all stored elsewhere obviously).

The next version of Lightworks (11.1) which will be available as a Beta build shortly, will include the ability to save your project folder to a location of your choice. This will only be available to Pro users.

As a newly signed up Pro user today, I'd like to see this option available soon also. Thanks.

I also would appreciate the feature. I archive my projects individually by folder, and it would be nice to be able to back it up together, instead of having to hunt through my file system to grab all the individual files, and probably missing some in the process.

Yeah! This is an old request from some of us and I'm glad it has been made available. It will make it much easier if you have multiple computers running Lightworks where a person may not sit at the same computer each time they are working. Example being classrooms and other educational editing labs.

Why only pro ? Seems like a basic feature.
