I thought I heard something way back in the beginning of LW open source that VST plugins would be added at some point, though don't quote me on this.

VST would be great!

There are also free VST plugins available so that would keep up the idea of LW being free for all. Also, this way, LW developers wouldn't need to code ALL the audio effects themselves! Just give it a bit of VST-interface.

Hi,
the problem with audacity is that we cannot check the fx changes in real time and it gets boring very fast, whereas the LW built in fx are RT and it's much more user friendly. But I'm reading on some forums that it would load omfs... ! I'm trying this right now;
